Modern

CLONMEL -- We have photo challenges running this academic term and first up is "modern." There are fine examples of "modern" resting defiantly outside of the Irish Museum of Modern Art. Laanba's nomination from Houston feels like a winner.

The Museum of Fine Art Houston Sculpture Garden is a peaceful place inside a quiet space. Like its Irish counterpart, it has meandering pathways with manicured green and large installations of modern art. The photo above is Alexander Calder's The Crab (1962, painted steel), snapped by Laanba and submitted to the photo challenge.
