GILLMOR -- Dan Gillmor repeats a message that seasoned users know -- don't make judgments about things you read online. "One of the Net's great features, the ability to be relatively anonymous, can also be one of its chief defects. This is a problem. It is not a crisis. Solving the problem is not simply a matter of passing laws or using better technology. Critical thinking -- common sense -- is part of the answer."
