Facebook

CLONMEL -- We will expand the Irish Typepad Faceroll into a Facebook and offer that concept up for students every term. Facebooks are attracting attention from colleges across the States. They are modeled after schools' traditional booklets featuring first year mug shots along with a snippet on hobbies or contact information.

I believe we will build out the Tipperary Institute Facebook as part of a social software network. It can become a valud way for students to connect with jobs. Based on the layers of security, items such as holiday plans and personal information can be locked down or shared as desired.
