Essential iPod

Essential iPodAMAZON -- Based on customer purchases, the 20 GB Apple iPod is the #7 item among early adopters of computing technology. If you look at all iPods available on Amazon, the iPod's different models comprise four of the top 10 electronics items ordered by Amazon shoppers.


Amazon -- "Early Computer Adopters" suggest the ipod will be under a lot of Christmas trees this year.
IT Conversations host and producer Doug Kaye talks about web-audio business models, and what multimedia content formats work best. In a recent IT Conversations he discussed related topics such as the impact of Podcasting on IT Conversations, traditional broadcast radio and satellite radio, and whether audio streaming will flourish or die. This is a big deal--podcasting by independent producers--because the distributed nature of content makes it even more obvious that Bill Gates cannot buy the internet.
