Big Bite Blog
MCWILLIAMS -- David McWilliams trawls into Irish blogging when he makes it a feature on his 5 April 2005 RTE television show. I think he should mark the occasion by making a blog himself. Perhaps he needs some ideas as to what should be on his blog.
Program Notes with comments. Tell readers what's ahead and let them know what just happened. Permit comments from readers.
Search box. Let people search the blog but also make the search reach through the McWilliams web site.
Around my space. Give Google Juice to other bloggers by mentioning something found on another Irish blog. Start with the longest standing Irish blogs and work from there. You'll find several Irish blogs online that link directly into their archives dating back to 2001 or earlier.
Cutting Room Clippings. Short blurbs (like a link list) of stuff that never made it to air.
Reading List. Show viewers what you're reading. Monetise the list through Amazon or an Irish bookseller. Include a sublist that incorporates your newsfeeds from other bloggers, media outlets and groups. Sell your own books because you've inked plenty of pages already.
