Porn in your email

UPDATED 18 MAY 2011: I killed the image on this post because it violated Google AdSense standards.

ORIGINAL POST:

I GET 10-15 emails a day through my Ireland OnLine email client that contain porn images. If I mistakenly send a porn-filled image to the wrong person, I could cost that person a job because the image might show up in a censorware filter and breach acceptable use guidelines at the reader's workplace. What if the user got the image as part of an HTML mail from a major company like Microsoft? Would the sanctions be as severe?

It turns out that Microsoft was on the receiving end of porn images coming from a trusted account. The account holder did not appreciate his family-safe images being appropriated without attribution so he replaced some of his nicked images with porn images.

Back to the question at hand: If you open and then print email from a trusted vendor and that email violates a condition of internet usage, should you be sanctioned?
