Reducing CIB to Twitterspeak
TODAY'S COMPUTER IN BUSINESS is worth a read. I reduced it to one 12-second clip on Facebook: "Buy summer gadgets that are wifi-ready. Think virtualisation when working at home. Stop time-wasting with effective Acceptable User Policies." As my Qik clip shows, there are embedded references in CIB to all sorts of really sweet phones from SonyEricsson that will work well for me as pocket media production in addition to linking into many Sony television sets with no special parts. [1] Adrian Weckler opens the magazine by pointing to the need for Ireland Inc to actually make things, not to just service things. [2] It's a point echoed by James Dyson in the same edition. [3] One of the most effective green incentives--ride wifi-equipped public transport--earns two pages of coverage without any sidebar information pointing to the transport companies who offer the service.
