I had a eureka moment as the the first hour of MAVIS in Studio Six drew to a close. I wondered what would happen if we closed books and launched into Simon Høgsberg's "Thought Project". This project ran for three months in Copenhagen and New York City. It involved stopping 150 strangers on the street. Simon Høgsberg asked them what they where thinking about the second before he stopped them. He used a microphone and a dictaphone to record their response, then took photos of them. You can see 55 of the 150 thoughts on his SimonHoegsberg website. All quotes are verbatim.
Imagine the sernity of thought you would get if you measured response in Knock and then compared that to thoughts expressed outside of Irish post offices on Benefit Days.
