SBP -- Norman Crowley, the Irish entrepreneur installing 20,000 wireless internet hotspots in Britain, is talking to mobile operators about the same opportunities in large Irish cities. Crowley, a founder of Internet firm Ebeon, said his Inspired Broadcast Networks was a "market maker" in Wi-Fi. Crowley says The Cloud was profitable. His network uses wireless technology from Ericsson. As well as The Cloud, Inspired operates gaming and betting machines and recently acquired a plasma screen business. It has a Dublin office and the parent company has a turnover in the tens of millions of euro.
