I WORK BEHIND a firewall and a Border Manager. I have to accept the view of the world that those electronic guardians impose. On some days, I would like to peer beyond the Border Manager to see specific inbound links. Like today and most of the weekend--I would like to see what the Totse community is saying about this blog. I can't see why several hundred people a day from Totse are visiting this blog from a Totse BBS post.
Totse features in MSM (mainstream media) news and publications. The coverage concerns members committing crimes and for the pubication of controversial text files. As Wikipedia explains, "a great deal of Totse is dedicated to methods of growing/creating illicit chemical substances, as well as methods for building explosives, bioweaponry, and instructions on committing both computer and physical crimes but also contains many areas for the discussion of literature, politics and religion".
I didn't know I had achieved top-of-the-heap reporting for something related to subversive activity. If I have, could a Homeland Security dossier be close behind? Without being able to look at the referrer, I would guess the influx relates to one of my current popular posts, probably Sam, the ugliest dog or "Build your own stun gun".
Reflecting on the referrer from Totse.
