WHEN USING my Nokia N70 to send cameraphone images from its email client to my Flickr account, I have discovered you have to expect up to a 30 minute delay between sending an image and watching it appear online. (NOTE: This snag can also occur if you forget to attach the image to your email sent to Flickr.) I normally send megapixel images weighing 200k and they spend the longest time in the Flickr processing queue. If I reduce the images on the phone before sending them, the upload process is much faster and the cost to my bank account significantly less. However, it's tough reading the text on the small images and at the moment, we're shooting some signs that show the creative use of the English language in Ireland. You need megapixel evidence to appreciate this creative expression of the written word. It's much faster using the N70 "Upload to Flickr" option on the phone, even though that option does not give you a "sent" item record to review what you've actually done with images.
