KARLIN LILLINGTON echoes an oft-expressed sentiment of the Irish Blogging intelligentsia. "Personally, I know which Irish blogger I'd like to see making the move to print--the extraordinary Dervala, at dervala.net. In my, er, book, this ex-pat Irishwoman is firm proof that the blog is indeed a literary format, whether or not it makes the jump to paper. But it would be nice to have a portable version of Dervala. Think blook, Dervala, think blook." There are hundreds of readers in Tipperary who would appreciate a high-resolution print edition of Dervala's creative musings. Some have already passed through a Mass Communications course where reprints of Dervala's Irish archive form part of the supplemental readings on the module. I especially like Dervala's take on what it means to be nonresident.
