Using Bebo for Truants

SHORTLY AFTER writing about Bebo as a spam haven, I noticed one of my long-time truants ego-surfing when she landed on a podcast page that she helped produce. Then I wondered if it's good form to use my Bebo account as a school warden. Nothing over-the-top because that would offend and discourage a return to class. I'm thinking about sprinkling little comments that reflect how we miss her in class. And if things started rolling along, a dozen of her classmates could wade into the truant's site with encouraging comments of their own. I wonder if any teachers use Bebo this way.
