I LISTEN TO Ira Glass present This American Life while driving throughout Ireland and when friends hear his show the first time, they want his CD. You cannot easily get Chicago Public Radio's CD pack delivered to a European address but you can download and burn the shows onto CD. So I give them to friends and they often pass them along. I'm always captivated by little snippets sparked in my memory by the American Life episodes. Sometimes its the stories. Other times it's from the accents of a locality where I might have lived. If you've never tried a podcast, you should tune into This American Life, now on Vox.
Directly: www.thislife.org or ThisAmericanLife.vox.com where you can see that the presenter looks like his voice.
