YOU CAN OFTEN GET A FEEL for a work pattern by doing a time-motion study of a person. I opened 2011 listening to "Crazy" by Gnarls Barkley. The track landed in my earbuds via RainbowsAreDumb. Thanks, Victoria. The firs link I clicked in 2011 dealt with Google in education. My first tweet of the new year was a shout to my Pennsylvania cousins. Thanks, Jan Ole Suhr and Gravity. The first thing I did with my laptop was to shut down MP3 sync since it pulls too much from available bandwidth. And the first screen recording I did for 2011 was a capture of "If I had a heart" by Fever Ray. After ripping through these tasks in 15 minutes, I realised that I should listen to myself lay down some milestones for 2011 so I toggled into Audioboo and reviewed what I hope lies on the timeline dead ahead.
