IRELAND LOOKS LIKE going with a "yes" vote in a referendum for a balanced budget, Facebook looks overvalued, and the Hero Go Pro Camera is a winner. That's the thrust of a seven-minute audio and video clip summarising Sunday news from Ireland.
As viewers will notice, I converted our car into a sound booth and made my short newsround under the confused gaze of our 10-month-old son.
But the most interesting piece of "news" this weekend came as a supplement to Saturday's Independent where people talk about intimidating tweets. That's not unusual on Twitter--or any other network where people can hide behind anonymity. I prefer the civility of Google Plus over Twitter but I don't get much Irish conversation coming from the 5000 people who've connected with me on Google Plus.
