ONE OF THE MOST delightful things I enjoy online is the #MondayNightDanceParty via App.net. It's a global event on Christmas Eve next week.
The event promoses "special family-friendly Christmas songs queued up by three international DJ's: @sham, @po, and @jdscolam".
The event starts in Singapore during the afternoon with @sham's Christmas and Holiday favorites. @po follows with his playlist and then the flow closes with @jdscolam's blend.
You need to be on #ADN to participate. I hope there's an archive maintained of the event.
To get something played into a very elegant music browser, the DJs need your Christmas greeting in the form of an image, audio, or video.
To get a track played, you submit HD/HQ YouTube videos and pictures by posting on App.net itself as follows:
#MNDPHolidayGreeting [insert your link here]
You can also submit MP3 files (less than 2MB) from Duerig's upload page. I wouldn't expect those audio tracks to be as high quailty as you can find already on YouTube or on other shareable sites.
