Pen & Pixel submission by Attila Farkas.
Pen & Pixel showcases students' work in the fields of Art, Animation, Web Design, Audio, Video, Games Applications and Photography. There will also be a Kids' Art section where submissions from primary and secondary level students will feature under the categories of 2D Art and Graphic Design. Everything is free and open to the public.
Pen & Pixel brings creative digital media from sketchpads to wall spaces to viewing platforms to discussions. The annual event attracts potential employers who seek clever developers for jobs in advertising, marketing, animation, computer games and interactive media.
This year, a series of workshops precede the main event. Local second-level students will learn about photography, Android app development and basic 3D methods.
Behind the scenes, a team of creative students are trying to ramp up production of showreels, photographic exhibitions and special demonstration spaces. Their massive to-do list will serve as an important road map when a new crew plans Clonmel's biggest third level event.
