EVERY FORTNIGHT, Audioboo on Android swallows an audio clip I've made. Thankfully, it doesn't actually erase.
I'm making this short blog post so I can pin it to my phone as a reminder to where the recorded audio goes. What follows is info from the helpful crowd in the Audio Community on Google Plus. They've repeated it twice.
Look inside android/data/com.moshen.audioboo2/files and you can rename the .rec files into .mp3 files. I do that and then send the result by email to my laptop where I post-produce the item. Or I can email it directly to Boomail. And I also send the file into my Evernote collection where it sits for posterity.
Hat tip to Phil Sorrell for sharing this tip. Twice.
