Wordle's view of @topgold, February 2015.
BECAUSE I BELIEVE in the value of marked down text, I run Wordle drills on myself and my social media students in the Limerick School of Art & Design. The screenshot on this post shows the results of a personal trawl of recent content I have shared on Twitter, Facebook, Google Plus, Flickr, LinkedIn and Audioboom. [1]
I'm asking 20 social media students on our County Tipperary campus to do the same thing during a practical exercise. Their results will percolate up to the Media Writing Group on Flickr, be discoverable on Google as elements of their identity, and serve as a touchpoint for curious second level students who wonder if the creative multimedia programme we teach is the one for them.
I'm looking forward to sharing the results through an intelligent display screen we're cobbling together on campus for the Pen & Pixel exhibition in May.
