THE HANDY THING about the 2015 #cesicon event [1] is many of the presentations offered lists, presentations and annotated notes for downloading during or immediately after sessions. I think I learn more during presentations when I am confident that I can watch, write and listen intently because the presenters give me the safety net of their top class preparation through an online archive.
So I took a variety of simple notes on my own and had some transcribed by a Mechanical Turk in the photo.

I think we need to set up high quality audio recording of selected speakers at our #ictedu conference because some of those sessions would complement the educasting channel we have set up on Audioboom. [2]
As in every conference, several very important lessons emerged in hallway conversations. I learned about the MOU between ILTA and CESI and I should have recorded that. I felt the stifling effect of a gagging order on one teacher but I could not have recorded that. I talked with members of our Youth Media Team about how their use of handheld technology has evolved during the past year. And I learned how third level educators are helping improve the skills of qualified teachers.
This weekend event was top-notch professional development. I will never forget John Davitt's entertaining style, Conor Galvin's excellent panel facilitation and design thinking for educators in a Camara Ireland workshop.
