AUTHOR DAVID GLUCKMAN visits the Clonmel campus for a lunchtime talk on Tuesday, February 27, 2018. The free event takes place in the Clonmel campus with an audience of clever creative students and local businesses.
Gluckman will address an audience of 45 creatives, animators, multimedia and game design students who create and design brand concepts as equally effective as the product. These third level students have created apps and media concept designs to attract and sell products.
It is a great chance to hear a free talk from an innovator and entrepreneur. It's also a great opportunity to connect and network with the next generation of creative and business minded students who will be in the audience.
A few hours before his guest appearance, at 9:15 on Tuesday the 27th of February, Fran Curry will interview Gluckman on TippFM (on 97.1FM or online TippFM.com) about his book "That sh*t will never sell". We will update this blog post with a recording of David's interview and with a short video recording of his talk at on the Limerick Institute of Technology, Clonmel Campus.
Information for the visit of David Gluckman was compiled during a tutorial session conducted by students taking a Public Relations module. One of the students, @Chaotic_Jess, explained the background of the image accompanying this blog post:
"The breakthrough idea was that we should store the Baileys flavours in oak bourbon casks and then tip these out and fill these with whiskey" - Excerpt from the book "That sh*t will never sell" who's author will be doing a presentation in Clonmel's LIT campus next week.
