TEN YEARS AGO, on 13 April 2008 when talking about Qik, I hit 5252 page views on my personal blog. It's been all downhill from there.
I've started turning the analytics microscope onto my personal online spaces because I want to develop a refined statistical understanding of how blogging has morphed into microblogging. I think there are major societal impacts surrounding this evolution in our online conversations.
During the past 10 year period, only two of my pages have attracted more than 1000 page views.
Top Schools in Munster
I shared a "league table" from The Sunday Times in 2013 and that page is viewed at least once a week. I should update it every year if a new entrant appears on the list.
Amazon Echo in Ireland
We enjoy our Echo Dot and our home was among the first 500 in Ireland to have an operational voice service connected to Amazon. Six year old Dylan has become a master of talking to Alexa and some day I will share a blog post of his observations.
