MY 2019 started without a hangover because I stayed clear of alcohol during the previous three days. Instead, I was self-medicating against a cold by infusing mass quantities of things like lychees from Martin's Fruit & Veg in Clonmel. The first day of the year also arrived with a nagging text from my broadband provider because I'm 125 euro behind in my monthly payment. I used the money for Christmas presents instead this year.
And now, here are seven other things I did between 0800 and 0900 on Monday the first of January 2019.
NYT on Dems. Sheryl Gay Stolberg and Emily Cochrane report "Democrats Try to Box In Trump With Plan to End Government Shutdown Without Wall Funding". This will be interesting.
I made a personal audio recording about a family friend who died in front of his daughter and grandchildren on Christmas day after playing his accordion in a happy moment.
WaPo reports Louis C.K. is acting weird. Katie Mettler writes, "Louis C.K. hinted at change. Then he mocked Parkland survivors."
I'm doodling about some icons I want to add to my Instagram. I want an icon about cycling (planning a 500 km year), a cat icon to go with the obligatory cat photos in my stream, an icon for Mia Art because I want to feature some more of her doodles, and a icon for a microphone because I'm pushing up visual content supporting Congversations.
I'm listening to the RISE podcast and learning how to build a business you believe in.
And Kurt Eichenwald republished a series of tweets about how he built an evidentiary link between Wikileaks, Russian disinformation campaigns, and Trump the candidate.
