Google Tags Not Firing

MY CURRENT FIRST WORLD PROBLEM revolves around a simple misconfiguration of my Google Tag Manager. It's a skill we teach in the Web Analytics module on the Clonmel Digital Campus.

Instanimators

IT'S OFFICIAL! My Instagram feed is a feeder channel for talented young people. I see some of this as I scroll past dozens of images shared by creative students.

And I watch my 12 year old daughter delight in artwork that she wants to emulate.

I've scraped 10 samples from animators on the Clonmel Digital Campus. You can see their expansive body of work by following the Instagram handles in the YouTube clip about Instanimators that I made.

Learning from Tweens h/t @thinkwithwitt

EVEN THOUGH I HAVE read and highlighted The Gen Z Frequency, I know there is nothing better than tuning in directly to the conversations of young teens. I had an opportunity to do that when I accompanied Mia (12) and her friends on a shopping trip to Waterford.

Resolving to create daily audio h/t @firemanrich

WHILE LISTENING to Rich Roberts bemoan the demise of random early morning audiograms, I picked up my Samsung Note 9 and responded with a resolution to restart my morning coffee notes and will publish them as Topgold Audio Clips.

Pocketmedia with New Students #clonmeldigit

DURING AN INTRODUCTORY session with new students on our Clonmel Digital Campus, I asked how many people were using Instagram and more than half of the audience raised their hands. Although fewer than a half dozen said they had posted to Instagram that morning, my simple survey suggests Instagram is the pocket media social channel of choice for our creative students.

Let's rewind 10 years and look at what a similar audience was using.

Five More Welcome Addresses #edchatie

I HAVE FIVE MORE welcoming addresses to enjoy before I hang up my whiteboard markers. Today, I'm taking notes in a yellow Moleskine journal during the annual welcoming address. As in previous years, I plan to annotate some notes with rectangles, some with stars, and some with exclamation points. Each of those annotations indicates a call to action I should consider.

Collaborative Pencils

I'M VISITING a f ew art supply shops in Limerik today, hoping to find a purple Derwent pencil. I share my pencils with my two primary school children and the purple one is most likely to be chewed down to its core.
