A Community Using Audio Glue

I'm working with conversational glue at the end of June 2021. I made an audio clip while reflecting on things I've done that are going to stay with me long after the annual audiomo challenge passes into the next year.

The most import thing I learned in this 11th year of audiomo is that there are dimensions of communications that are more constructive when they have a community building dynamic. In this case, the self-organising community of audiomo binds together by a conversational glue.

Audiomo Live Session

I met up with Josh O’Farrell Hurley using Zoom during audiomo, a monthly social audio challenge. We created two video clips, one for Twitter that also went to Josh’s Soundcloud account and another for Flickr. The one for Twitter was similar to a clip Ray Garraud and Ernie Hartley made using their Backpack Studio app. You can also create threaded audio commentary by using Limor or Swell.

Updating ORCID

I HAVE HUNDREDS of newspaper clippings and Moleskine journals that must be folded into my ORCID profile. So I am using up to an hour a day culling old records and inserting materials into my online researcher profile.
