ELEVEN YEARS AGO, I abandoned Twitter as a firehose and started using it as a list-based process. I follow people on lists and dive into content based on hashtags or recommendations. Both Chris Byrne and John Tierney continue to be proof-positive that rewards follow people who share.
Chris Byrne and Readwise
I have shared the joy of Readwise through joint discoveries. Chris and I enjoy tweeting Readwise screenshots of hightlighted text and the covers of books that appear in-app. I think I'm going to complement this process with a workflow that involves a snippets shared by Feedly to a digital Zettelkasten on a blog to a mailshot powered by Sensor Pro, the EU-made email marking program. Some of the digital clippings surface for reading via my public Instapaper or my public Readwise.

John Tierney and Community Memories
I met John through my blog more than a decade ago. I wrote a short piece about location-aware mobile services that led to a series of walk and talks with John in County Tipperary. What we discussed then would complement the walking tours Fran Curry does every week with John G. O'Dwyer.
John has validated a live streaming workflow that works well for me during studio sessions on the Clonmel Digital Campus. His production process is more robust than the one I have and I think I'm going to follow several of John Tierney's examples during minibus journeys and exterior green screen productions. I can use class time to perfect scripts and rehearse timing to ensure we have content that appeals to the Instagram Generation currently taking Honours Degrees on our campus.
