WE HAVE A BLACK GOTHIC DOOR in our back garden and it's often in my field of view when I create Topgold Audio Clips. As I post this blog at the end of April 2022, the door isn't findable on Tin Eye and that surprises me.
I REMEMBER WHEN everyone who was on Twitter in Ireland in mid-January 2007 could fit inside the conference centre of Tipperary Institute. I'm curious how those 150 people, including 15 from our college campus, view Twitter becoming a private company.
UPDATED 20 APRIL 2022: I'm going to use this blog post as a diary that documents what I did to return to health. Actually, I think I need to produce an audio diary because then my raspy voice provides telltale clues. Scroll to the bottom to see the blow-by-blow revelations.
AFTER HEARING CASES of friends catching COVID, I thought that since I had escaped any infection during our masked phase that I was impervious. I can admit I'm wrong and now hope I can shake this virus within the next seven days so I can be back in the classroom to finish the semester. But if I can't there's always Teams to wrap up everything.
I've discovered the best recording equipment is often what's connected directly to a phone because I haven't been able to find the audio levels for Spreaker Studio on the Microsoft Surface Book. I think I'm going to revert to using XLR lapel mics and a shortgun mic with my Zoom H6 field recorder because the audio quality is much easier to control that way.
