NAPKIN IS ONE OF THE MOST visually appealing writing apps I've ever used. Its subtle awareness of content that I've saved makes simple work of creating written course material for use by my students.
After one month using Napkin, I still don't know how Napkin can elegantly display relevant material. It's a very sweet use of artificial intelligence. Napkin makes its results look so very pleasing.
Since Napkin knows the content in my Readwise, it can show results that I've completely forgotten from past readings. This is actually a big bonus because I often feel most of what I've annotated on Kindle is stuck inside a big digital swamp. But now the Artificial Intelligence of Napkin helps me rediscover items I might otherwise have forgotten. And Napkin will show relationships between highlights of a wide range of my reading material. No other app or service does this as effectively. I feel as though I'm paging through bookshelf items, finding little Post-it notes or handwritten maginelia.
I've started inputting and tagging snippets of thought, new vocabulary, and quotations in Napkin. And then I can look up the tagged content as part of a daily routine. In fact, I've made these snippets into stacks of content inside Napkin so I can tap into them every day.
