WITHIN 30 DAYS, we will enjoy another MakerMeet--this time inside the TUS-Thurles campus on the evening before #ictedu23.
[Four weeks until MakerMeet in Thurles.]
I'm reading the work of several students who are researching what MakerMeet involves. Here's the view of Stuart Connolly.
"Maker". The term is simple, refreshing, and new to me. I believe it encapsulates exactly the mindset and aspirations of creative people in any given field or discipline. I consider myself an aspiring music/sound Maker, which means many different things from songwriting to voice work to sonic landscapes and beyond. I believe MakerMeet will be an invaluable resource for people who work who benefit most from hands-on, practical learning.
I've taken Dylan (in the photos) to several MakerMeets. This year, he plans to return to his primary school with ideas he hopes will filter into classroom activities.
