A LOT OF BUSINESS POST coverage today goes out to start-ups, perhaps in testimony to the successful Web Summit last week. You can hear and see that in the video below the break.
I like Adrian Weckler's take on the summit [1], especially since he elevates Patrick Collison over Robert Scoble. We know that's feudal loyalty but it's nice all the same. Adrian also has a good piece about horse trading that gets front page focus along with a little embedded Apple logo in the photo frame. He balances that coverage with a gigantic photo essay about the Samsung Galaxy Note 2, writing "bigger is better." Yep.
David McWilliams gives his half page to ruminations about Google's Zeitgeist conference and the One campaign. [2] You couldn't just walk into those events so it's nice David gives readers the impression from the front stage.
Other commentators [3] [4] single out intrepid Irish start-ups, some that did not attend the Dublin Web Summit.
