WATCHING OUR 5YO learn how to add and subtract renews my love of mathematics because I see her wishing for things as a function of numbers.
As a teenager, I enjoyed understanding fluid dynamics, double derivatives and coffin corners. I could explore all those things through maths without getting hurt.
